Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you are going to be taken to your hotel. You are going to relax after a long journey before joining in a welcome dinner at a colonial building. In the evening, you are going to partake in performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an unique art form of northern Vietnam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture)

Overnight in Hanoi.

We will take a morning drive to Ha Long Bay, (one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas – the world’s largest marine “karst” landscape). Then, we continue to travel to some infamous grottoes and caves by a type of traditional-style boat . This journey includes some activities such as swimming, fishing, hill climbing for Bay overviews, exploring sea level caves by a small sampan, etc. All meals are available on board and your accommodation will be a twin room with the well-equipped toilets, in which contains a shower.

Morning cruising to the Ha Long Bay, followed by lunch and then return to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Take a noon flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, you will be picked up to visit Po Nagar Cham Towers. Overnight in a sea-view hotel of this city.

A whole day boat cruise to the Hon Mun Island for snorkeling. Then, we are going to have a seafood lunch on the boat with wine and fruits for desserts at the Mot Island. Rowing bamboo-basket at a fishing village on Hon Mieu Island. Overnight in Nha Trang.

The boat trip is a “funny” event. You are going to join a boat party with Vietnamese crews who act as a guide, chef, and musician. Plenty of wines are included, and you will be offered the local dishes, especially is a bowl sea-urchin soup – which can satisfy your taste. The coral around Hon Mun Island is magnificent, let you swim away from the area where the boats tie-up.

You should get back to the land on time for a trip to the hot spring spa near the Po Nagar Cham Towers – you can immerse your body in mud, enjoy the hot spring water, and relax in large hot mineral water swimming pool which is set in beautiful gardens for just over $3 – whiat an amazing value! 

Free day in Nha Trang for a beach holiday.

This city offers various activities to serve the demands of customers for the memorable moments in the beach resort. You can have a boat trip to the islands for partaking in some water sports such as snorkeling, swimming, and even the “cocktail bar” with Vietnamese wine. Diving facilities and service here is supposed to be the best in Vietnam. There are many restaurants along the beach which offer the delectable Vietnamese and international dishes. Subsequently, a ten-minute-drive takes you to the hot spring spa – you can immerse in mud, enjoy the hot spring water, and relax in a large hot mineral swimming pool, which is set in beautiful gardens for just over $3 – cheap at ten times the price!

After breakfast, you are free for relaxing until transferring to the Cam Ranh Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be picked to the hotel. The rest of the day will be on your own.

After breakfast, you are going to join in a city tour with some famous attractions, including Ho Chi Minh City's History Museum (special exhibition of the 5th century “Oc Eo” civilization), War Remnants Museum (we will be recalled about the brief recollections of American War), the huge Ben Thanh Market (one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City), Jade Emperor Pagoda (the magnificent statues, the remarkable sculptures about going down to the Hell and tortoise preservation area) and join in a lacquer painting workshop.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, you are going to be picked up at the hotel for a trip to My Tho.

Boarding at Cai Be River at noon. Then we will do the check-in procedures. You will then depart towards Cho Lach on the Tien river. Have lunch while en route. Rest on the deck and welcome drink are served on board.

The Bassac slips into the Cho Lach canal, between the bustling river with containing full of boats. We will pass the markets and churches. It is an unique opportunity for us to observe the life on river banks as well as on the water.

Visit a village on Mang Thit riverbank, it is an opportunity to appreciate the peaceful life and the hospitality of the locals. In this trip, we are also going to visit the orchard or rice paddies nearby.

We will come back to the board where the beverages is served. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The waiter will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river.

The Bassac will park near Tra On floating market for sleeping at night.

We are going to have breakfast before 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise to the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho. Subsequently, it will arrive in Cai Rang Floating Market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to travel around this place. Simultaneously, we can also travel to the nearby canals and local gardens before moving to the Ninh Kieu Wharf. After that, you are going to move to Can Tho for accommodation.

 

Please note you will leave the Bassac for the last journey around Cai Rang Market before 8:30.

 

You are going to have breakfast at the hotel and then be picked up to Soc Trang (a small town well off the beaten tourist track, where you can visit the K’leng Pagoda, remarkable Bat Pagoda, and the unusual ‘Clay Pagoda’. You’ll then drive to Chau Doc for accommodation.

Soc Trang is an attractive city which attracts tourists by its unique cultures. The bats at the Bat Pagoda, with a wingspan which exceeds a meter, are keen on eating fruits. They are now very rare, but there is a sizeable flocks gathers on the trees of the pagoda where they are protected from hunters. This pagoda is also an attractive destination.This pagoda is also an attractive destination. On the other hand, the K’leng Pagoda is a good example of the ornate Kh’mer architectural style, which is common in Vietnam - Cambodia borders. The Clay Pagoda is a remarkable construction of a poor monk who created a wonderland with a lot of sacred and bizarre sculptures.

After breakfast, you’ll take a hydrofoil trip to Phnom Penh. On arrival, a car will take you to the hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

After breakfast, start your tour in the same morning to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum of Khmer Arts. In the afternoon, visit Choeung Ek Killing Field, Toul Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crime, and renowned Wat Phnom.

Overnight in Phnom Penh.

After breakfast, take the 7:00 a.m. speedboat trip to Siem Reap which takes about 5 hours ride. While onboard, you will see the scenic scenery of the Cambodian rural lifestyle along the riverbank (optional by air). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. After a short relaxation, carry on to tour the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple and see an impressive sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Early morning, see the picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat, before returning to the hotel for breakfast. In the same morning, tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Terrace of Elephants and Leper King. In the afternoon, visit the Small Circuit to see Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thommanon, and Chausay Tevoda.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

After breakfast at the hotel, continue your sightseeing to the Grand Circuit to see Prasat Kravan, East Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Kan. In the afternoon, visit an ethnic local village and take a scenic boat cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake to see the Floating Village.

After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until transfer to airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage town. Nestled in a stunning setting amid lush mountains, this sacred city of golden temples and saffron robed monks provides endless opportunities for sightseeing. Visit a number of Wats and some of this peaceful town’s main highlights.

This morning, enjoy a cruise on the Mekong River and visit the sacred Pak Ou Caves. Since the 16th century, local people have brought images of the Buddha to place in the caves – nowadays there are thousands to see. In the evening stroll through the night market to buy some local crafts and souvenirs.

Today you can choose from many optional activities. You may wish to embark on a bicycle ride through spectacular scenery, visit an elephant camp where you can ride one of these magnificent creatures through the jungle or swim in a jungle waterfall. Alternatively, you could enjoy a delicious cooking class or even a lesson in the art of silk dyeing.

 

You will be transferred to the airport for the short flight to Vientiane. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the capital’s main sights. In the evening, go for a stroll along the banks of the Mekong River and enjoy a drink as the sunsets.

The day is at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
