Day 1 Hanoi - Arrival (D, G)

Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll have time to relax after your journey before a welcome dinner at a colonial building.

In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Viet Nam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture).

Your overnight stay will be in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi city tour (B, L, G)

An all day city tour, possibly including the Temple of Literature, (the first university in Viet Nam dating back to the 11th C), the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Ethnology Museum and the centre of Hanoi, including the Hoan Kiem Lake, the Ngoc Son temple and the bustling Old Quarter with a complex of architecture – traditional tube houses, religious buildings and the colonial houses. In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of Cheo (an traditional music typical for the northern Viet Nam).

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong (B, L, D, G)

A morning drive to Ha Long Bay, (one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas – the world’s largest marine ‘karst’ landscape). Travel by traditional-style boat to some of the less well-known grottoes and caves. Includes swimming, fishing, hill (not mountain) climbing for Bay overviews, exploring sea level caves in a small sampan, etc.

All meals will be provided on board and your accommodation will be on the boat in a twin room with en suite toilet and shower.

Day 4 Halong - Hanoi (B, L, G)

Morning cruising Ha Long Bay, followed by lunch and then return to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Hanoi - Yangon (B, G)

After breakfast, you will be free until the driver and guide come and take you to the airport for your flight to Yangon.

On arrival at Yangon Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to hotel for check in then followed by sightseeing of some major highlights in Yangon : Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, located at the heart of the city, Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image and the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitor a spectacular show of lights and shadows.

Day 6 Yangon - Bago - Yangon (B, L, G)

After breakfast, excursion to Bago, a remarkable day to be free from buzaling Yangon.

The ancient Mon Capita Bago is situated 80 Kilometres northeast of Yangon. Along the way to Bago, you’ll enjoy the countryside atmospheric views and after driving for 1 1/2 hour, arrive at Bago. Sightseeing tour highlights include Kyakhat Wine monastery where you will see 1200 over Buddhist monks having their merit lunch with total silence by 10:30 am.

Then, a worthy visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, a pagoda that has almost the same age as Shwedagon but built in Mon style. Then a short visit to Shwethalyaung, the most beautiful Reclining Buddha. On the way back to Yangon visit the Allied War Cemetery at Htaukkyant if desired or a short stop at Shwe Nyaung Bin ( Golden Banyan tree ) where you will see strange activities of car owners.

Overnight in Yangon.

Day 7 Yangon - Departure (B, G)

Before leaving Myanmar you’ll be taken for unforgettable morning sightseeing tour of Yangon. Tour includes visits to Shwedagon Pagoda, the world famous glittering gold stupa towering over the city with a great spire to the height of 326 feet; Chaukhtatkyi – a colossal reclining Buddha.

The last visit to Nagar Glass factory where you can experience old methods of making glass figuring by experienced workers. Then transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure.
