In the morning, you will be driven to Bac Ninh.

Before visiting But Thap Pagoda, we will stop by Dong Ho Painting Village where artisans have been practicing the craft of woodblock painting since the 17th century.

You will discover the beauty of Dong Ho paintings which rely on local materials such as traditional shell-coated “Do” paper and natural pigments. These folklore paintings depict the wishes of laypeople, historical figures, allegories and daily life.

Have a picnic lunch or a local meal.

In the afternoon, proceed to Ha Long for the night.

Overnight in Ha Long. [Lunch]

Take a delightful morning cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy a seafood lunch on board before returning to the dock.

Drive back to Hanoi with a stop en route at the Bat Trang Pottery Village. [Breakfast, Lunch]

We continue to move to the Red River Delta, in which we will see a traditional water puppet performance at a local village.

After leaving Ha Long Bay, we take a scenic drive to a small village known as the origins of water puppetry in the Red River Delta. We can enjoy the water puppet performance while sampling local delicacies.

Local artisans will then introduce to you a wooden water puppet as a souvenir.

Drive back to Hanoi.
